Science-policy event “When Nature Can Do the Job”: presentations now on YouTube

Mars 2025 - Bruxelles

The EU Horizon Europe project wildE investigates how ecological restoration through ‘climate-smart rewilding’ can benefit biodiversity and the climate while addressing the needs of local communities. wildE recently joined forces with its sibling projects REWRITE and WildCard, the Society for Ecological Restoration Europe (SERE) and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), to organise a science-policy event entitled “When nature can do the job: fostering co-benefits for people and the environment in view of the Nature Restoration Regulation" (Brussels, 19th March 2025). This event brought together leading European experts to explore where, when, and how nature can help build resilient ecosystems, support biodiversity, and enhance livelihoods in the face of accelerating climate change. The presentations delivered at this event were just published on the CINEA YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aeg61hEEKWI.
